Bill of Rights – Conceptual Poster
My broadside represents the social and structural exclusion present in the Bill of Rights. It focuses on the disconnect from the government and the people. I isolated the header and the preamble in the center to represent the government surrounded by a horde of angry commentary by the citizens. The text overlaps and comes from different angles to represent the many different viewpoints of the people.
Twenty Type Rules Every Designer Should Know
How far can we push readability? This project is designed to push the norms of typography while still managing to follow the "twenty rules every designer should know." I want this piece to be visually captivating from afar, and then technically sound up close. These appear to be opposite techniques but they work well together; much like how the contrast of yellow and white is typically low, this project uses these 'enemies' to create something beautiful. This poster is organized chaos.
